The factory was built in the late 1920s by its owner Jaume Ensenyat. It was initially engaged in textile production, however, in 1960, Antonio Ramis Tortella acquired the factory and set up a shop and started manufacturing leather products. In 1990, production was brought to a halt but the store remained open until 2013. The factory is currently a culture and innovation centre, converted into a space for learning and growth. Furthermore, different rooms and spaces can be rented for all kinds of events: fairs, conferences, workshops, etc.
