Commitment to Responsible Tourism: Inca (SICTED)

The Inca Town Council is leading the implementation of the new SICTED: Sustainability, Intelligence, and Tourism Quality in the Destination Ecosystem. This program by the State Secretariat for Tourism (SETUR), developed with the support of the FEMP and the Balearic Islands Tourism Strategy Agency (AETIB), sets the roadmap to transform our municipality into a more competitive, technological, and sustainable destination.

Since our adherence to SICTED, Inca has been working to consolidate a tourism model where excellence is a shared value. The system integrates 36 different trades, allowing both public and private tourism services to collaborate under a common methodology oriented toward efficiency and respect for our social and natural environment.

What does the “Responsible Tourism Commitment” badge guarantee?

This seal identifies the tourism services that have certified compliance with the new quality and sustainability standards. By choosing a recognized service, visitors can be assured that it participates in a continuous improvement process, passing external evaluations and audits that ensure management is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Do you want your tourism service to join the new ecosystem?

If you are a professional or a tourism service in the municipality and wish to improve your competitiveness under this new model endorsed by the State Secretariat for Tourism, the application process is open. This program has the funding and technical support of the Inca Town Council and the AETIB.
