Can Rovira was
founded in 1961 by Llorenç Rovira Ramis, with the help of his father and
brother. From the beginning, the business was focused on the sale of
paintings, and later on photography. In fact, Can Rovira can boast of
having developed one of the first black and white photographs. Over the
years they have added various products according to market demand.
Currently, they still sell paintings, and have expanded the offer to photography, fine arts and stationery in general.
The
store has always been in the same location and today it is run by the
second generation of the Rovira family, since Llorenç Rovira Ramis
transferred it to his nephew, Llorenç Rovira Alzina.
